Who we are (data controller)

SENSIKS B.V. is the controller responsible for the personal data processed through this website.

What personal data we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us, plus limited technical data needed to run the site securely.

• The content of your message

Data collected automatically

• Standard server log data (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested), used to keep the site secure and available.
• Cookie and similar-technology data — only where you have given consent (see Cookies).

We do not ask for special-category data and request that you do not include sensitive personal details (for example health information) in the free-text message field.

Why we use your data and our legal basis

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange demonstrations or pilots — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to any agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.
• To operate and secure the website — on the basis of our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure service.
• Analytics and media cookies — only on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who receives your data

Messages submitted through the form are sent by email to the SENSIKS team so we can reply to you. We do not sell your personal data. We may use trusted service providers (for example our email and website hosting providers) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. Where any provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and administration, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Server logs are kept only for a short period for security and diagnostics.

Your rights

Under the GDPR/AVG you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• data portability;
• withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out).

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sensiks.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We use CCM19 as our consent-management platform and ask for your consent before non-essential cookies or comparable technologies are used. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings.

Categories we use

• Strictly necessary — needed for the site to work (security, navigation, submitting the form). These are always active and do not require consent.
• Analytics — help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. CCM19 controls the relevant consent signals and any non-essential analytics storage according to the choice you make in the consent manager.
• Marketing & media — enable embedded media such as video and help measure campaigns. CCM19 controls the relevant advertising-storage, user-data and ad-personalisation consent signals according to the choice you make in the consent manager.

Embedded videos on this site are only loaded when you actively choose to play them, and where possible in a privacy-enhanced mode. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.

Third-party services

To deliver the website we use a small number of third-party services, which may receive your IP address as a technical necessity of loading their content:

• Web fonts and content-delivery networks used to display the site correctly.
• Video platforms (for example YouTube) used for embedded media, loaded only on your interaction and, where available, in a no-cookie mode.
